Plot of Episode 30
After returning to their home country, Kate's family was hit by a car in a hit-and-run driven by Michael's brother and sister, who fled the scene. Kate had no choice but to sign a pardon letter. Her sister-in-law, Rachel Lee, refused to pay for surgery, causing Kate's husband to pass away. When Kate returned home with her husband's ashes, she was misunderstood and beaten by Rachel. After the truth came out, Rachel was filled with regret and Kate's brother-in-law turned himself in. Kate then took her son back to their home country, leaving Rachel to face a lonely life.
