Noah Ulman has pursued Cindy Foster for six years. Their wedding is imminent, but Cindy's heart belongs only to her senior, Ryan Vaughn. To sever her attachments, she immerses herself in ascetic practices. Meanwhile, Noah, critically ill and heartbroken, decides to leave after undergoing surgery.
