Wounded on the battlefield, Nora Ward, a fearless general, is forced to retire by her father Louis Ward. Seizing the chance, Louis’s wife Vera Bell arranges Nora’s marriage to a frail, dying man, while securing a royal match between her own daughter, Penny Ward, and the powerful Prince Larry.
