Dawn, trained as a renowned medical sage in the countryside under her master's guidance,
keeps her true identity shrouded in secrecy, earning her the title of the "Masked Medical
Sage." When she discovers that her mother's death was no accident, she returns to
Southon to uncover the truth. In order to retrieve a valuable heirloom from the Hawk family,
she agrees to marry the disabled Beau Hawk in place of her sister.
Meanwhile, Beau, desperate to find the legendary Masked Medical Sage to treat his leg,
remains unaware that his wife, Dawn, is the very healer he has been searching for.
