Anne Moore was sold by her cruel father and stepmother to the frail Calvin Ford for good fortune. They married three years ago, but Anne only met Calvin on their wedding day. Three years later, she lived relatively comfortably with the Ford family until she learned about Calvin's plane crash and death. From confusion to shock, Anne vowed at her husband's funeral to remain a widow for life, but soon afterward, she went to a nightclub to enjoy life with her best female friend.
