Sara, desperate after being abused by her father Frank Lee and framed by her stepmother Shirley Morris, runs away. She collapses by the roadside and is rescued by Christ Simon, the CEO of the Simon Group, who takes her to the hospital. Christ is surprised to discover that Sara is the daughter of his sister Laurel Simon, whom the Simon family has been searching for years. Originally losing hope due to her mother's death and her father's indifference, Sara meets the reclusive Master Gregory in a dream. He reveals to her that her mother is still alive, reigniting Sara's determination.
