In the 1990s, Wyatt Howe, the manager of a factory on the brink of collapse, was suddenly diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. He concealed his condition and refused treatment, determined to reorganize the factory before his memories faded—to secure the workers' livelihoods and provide for his wife and daughter. However, his wife's ambiguous relationship with the accountant, coupled with the workers' misunderstandings and humiliation, ensued one after another. Wyatt silently endured it all, even facilitating the feeling between his wife and the other man. When the truth was revealed by his doctor, everyone was plunged into remorse, yet they also doubted its authenticity amidst swirling rumors.
