James Zook mistakenly believes that his mother, Nora Ward, caused his father’s death and drove his girlfriend to despair. Consumed by hatred, he develops a memory-reading helmet to seek revenge. Yet, upon uncovering the truth, James discovers that Nora had borne crushing debts alone, supported his start-up, and even donated her bone marrow to save his life.
