Plot of Episode 1
:Sophie Shaw, a small-town girl new to the big city, gets a job as a housekeeper at Professor Andrew Johnson's home, thanks to her roommate's introduction. But what she doesn't know is that this whole situation is part of a plan orchestrated by Emma Johnson, the professor’s wife. Emma intentionally selects Sophie to try to catch her husband in a mistake through their daily interactions, all so she can file for divorce. Emma subtly pushes Sophie into making difficult choices if she wants to succeed in the city. But when Professor Johnson uncovers the scheme, he and Sophie play along, turning the tables and setting up a brilliant counterattack. In the end, Emma faces the consequences of her own plotting. After everything unfolds, Sophie decides to leave it all behind and return to her rural hometown, choosing a quiet life on her own.
