It was an ordinary day. Blind Chloe Lowe was happily waiting for her husband Craig Lane to come home for his birthday celebration. Unbeknownst to her, Craig Lane was having an affair with her best friend Kate Lewis, taking advantage of Chloe Lowe's blindness. He even tricked her into signing a high-value insurance policy and began plotting a car accident. Their daughter Laura’s high fever played right into his plan. After being mistreated by her grandmother on a rainy night, Laura went out to look for Chloe Lowe, caught a high fever, and became deaf. Using this as an opportunity, Craig Lane lied about knowing a famous doctor and persuaded Chloe Lowe to get in the car—where he caused the crash. Chloe Lowe survived. Not only did she miraculously regain her sight, but she also started suspecting Craig Lane’s betrayal.
