The wealthy heiress Irene is framed by Cheryl, leading to her downfall and disgrace. Cheryl claims to be the daughter of Irene's fiancé's savior. Irene, unable to defend herself, only wishes for her fiancé Ryan to believe her, but she has already become infamous. Ryan is utterly disappointed in her, and their engagement is officially called off. After returning home desperately, Irene is ambushed and drugged by Cheryl. To eliminate future threats, Cheryl drags Irene into the bathroom to stage a wrist-slashing suicide. The pain awakens Irene, and she uses all her strength to call Ryan for help, but he thinks she is acting, and the call is disconnected, leaving Irene in despair and on the brink of death. Meanwhile, Ryan, feeling guilty towards Cheryl, decides to marry her. However, on the day of the wedding, the supposedly dead Irene appears at the scene. She gradually exposes Cheryl's malicious nature and successfully clears her name.
