Three years ago, Joseph Jim got married with Yale Jane but happened to see Yale being intimate with an older man. He misunderstood that she had betrayed him and filed for divorce. Confused and heartbroken, Yale was forced to sign the divorce papers and left the country. Three years later, Yale returned as a journalist and found Jim was close to the celebrity Shirley Smith. Seeing Jim with another woman, Yale could only conceal her feelings while Jim was relentless in targeting and insulting her. Just as Yale was about to clear up the misunderstanding, she was once again hurt by Jim’s misplaced assumptions. After enduring repeated emotional wounds, Yale finally gave up on him. At a banquet hosted by the Jane family, Jim learned that the “old man” he had seen with Yale was actually her father. Realizing his mistake, he began to chase after Yale, hoping to win back her love.
