To escape her parents' relentless pressure for her to marry, Selina Smith hastily enters into a marriage with Calvin Craig, a man known for his frugality.
She needs someone to do her house chores, after all. Hence, marrying a handsome man who will do it for her seems to be a pretty good deal. As they settle into their new home, they strike a deal: Selina focuses on her career while Calvin takes charge of domestic duties.
To Selina's amazement, Calvin not only fulfills his household responsibilities but also emerges as a steadfast ally against her family's relentless financial demands, easing many of her burdens.
However, the last thing she expects is to discover that Calvin is actually a wealthy man!
