Initially, Kael looked down on her due to a misunderstanding, but after learning about her struggles, he stepped in to help. Facing schemes and provocations from Anya Fisher, Reese Hill, and others, Kael repeatedly protected her. Gradually, feelings developed between them, and they eventually overcame numerous obstacles together to find happiness.
