Growing up an orphan, Wenyu suffered abuse from her uncle's family, who seized her parents' settlement and later tried to sell her off. By a stroke of fate, she had a fling with Su Zhenliang, a corporate CEO, and ended up pregnant. She was then cast out. For over two decades, Wenyu single-handedly raised her son and Zhenliang, who'd been looking for her, finally learned about their child. However, Meili, wanting to be his wife, pretended to Wenyu. Later, to help her son, Wenyu took a job at Zhenliang's company. Zhenliang began to assist them, which alarmed Meili. Eventually, he saw through Meili's ruse, reunited with Wenyu and her son.
