After a fall from a building, 40-year-old Xenia Burke and her 18-year-old biological daughter Vera Brown inexplicably swap memories. Waking up in her daughter's body, Xenia is horrified to discover she has been thoroughly deceived by her adopted daughter, Wendy Brown. Xenia learns that Wendy has repeatedly framed Vera for various misdeeds, such as stealing dresses, sabotaging academic papers, and plagiarizing research achievements. Worse still, Wendy conspired with domestic staff like the nanny and chauffeur to systematically bully Vera over a long period.
