Eleanor Vance, a rising business star in Couldhaven City, is framed by her stepsister Isabelle and mistakenly sleeps with Ethan Starling, CEO of Starling Group. Fearing scandal, Ethan leaves his heirloom jade pendant but Isabelle steals it, impersonating Eleanor. Banished and working as a waitress, Eleanor secretly raises their son Jamie. Years later, Isabelle schemes her way into the Sterling family with her child Ryan—until Jamie and Ryan meet at school.
