As a child, Ethan Hall was rescued from kidnappers by Molly Baker, who he gifted a jade pendant and a childhood marriage promise. Sent abroad for treatment, Ethan returned years later to find Molly gone. Now running his family's restaurant, he searches desperately for her. Meanwhile, Molly, sent by her grandfather to explore the world, becomes the head chef at Ethan's restaurant. Mistaken for a beggar by Clara Lynn, Molly accidentally knocks Ethan down, sparking an unexpected connection. Strangely, Ethan's allergy to strangers doesn't affect Molly, Unbeknownst to him, she is the very person he has been searching for all along.
