Opal Zook, the daughter of a marquis, decides to keep her child and cut ties with the father after her engagement falls apart. To her shock, the child's father turns out to be the Seventh Prince—her former betrothed—who returns under a false identity and engineers endless "chance" encounters to win her back. Unmoved by his shameless persistence, Opal can only sigh at the clingy prince she can’t shake off.
