Scarlett Davis, seeking vengeance for her family's massacre, assumed the identity of King family maid Sophia Hernandez to infiltrate the Commander's mansion in search of the truth. To avoid becoming Cody King's concubine, Sophia ruined the butterfly tattoo on her shoulder and exploited the greed of Hailey Jones—a maid who had already lost her virginity—making her take the place as the concubine. After numerous twists and turns, Sophia discovered that the true mastermind behind the Davis family massacre was Franklin Davis, who had urged her to take revenge on Cody. Thus, Sophia and Cody joined forces to kill Franklin. To thwart Franklin's conspiracy, Cody knocked Sophia unconscious and went alone to prevent the war, ultimately sacrificing his life. Upon awakening, Sophia also joined the war effort and sacrificed her life for the nation.
