Zoe Quinn saves Danny York's father, leading to a friendship where she supports Danny and Hope Scott's fruit shop with orders from her supermarket. When the couple plans to transfer their shop to repay loans, Zoe has her secretary take it over. However, Hope falsely accuses Zoe of using counterfeit money and pushes further. Zoe's tolerance ends when her secretary reveals the couple’s supplied goods were largely substandard, causing Zoe's supermarket to be sealed. Learning Zoe's true status, the couple is filled with regret.
