Retired Wyatt Howe visits his close friend Riley Hill's family. Riley's wife Freya Rose, recovering from childbirth, asks Wyatt to assist with postpartum care. Living under the same roof, Wyatt and the young mother experience minor clashes. When Riley Hill's sudden death occurs, Freya Rose finds herself relying entirely on Wyatt Howe for support.
