Graham, once indifferent to women, finds his life unexpectedly changed after a one-night affair with Lavinia that leads to her pregnancy. Initially motivated by a sense of responsibility, he takes her into his home to care for her. As they spend more time together, Graham begins to understand and care for Lavinia, developing deep feelings of love and affection for her. Over time, Lavinia, too, falls for him, finding the courage to pursue her own feelings and fight for their love.
